Shin Baek Choel in 2014. This is the fourth Asian crown for both. Yoo became an Asian Champion for the first time in 2010 with Cho Gun Woo. Lee’s previous two titles were with his former no.1 partners

The Badminton Asia Championships 2016 is the final major tournament counted in the Rio Olympics qualification period. The new BWF rankings to be released on Thursday will be used to decide the final Olympic entry list for the badminton event.
